Kazimierz Dolny is a considerable as one of the most beautifully situated little towns in Poland. It enjoyed its greatest prosperity in the 16th and the first half of the 17th century and enabled the town to preserve its Renaissance appearance. Since the 19th century, it has become a popular holiday destination, attracting artists and summer residents. Many painters retreat to this small town to paint and sell their work. The village is the birthplace of Polish pianist and composer Frederic Chopin. The main attraction is the Frederic Chopin Birthplace house, park, museum and Chopin recitals held on Saturdays in July and August featuring talented young Polish pianists.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kampinos-national-park\">Kampinos National Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kampinos Forest is a large forest complex located in the west of Warsaw. It covers a part of the ancient valley of the Vistula basin and is a combination of sandy dunes and marshes, with dense pine and spruce forest. The symbol of the Park are elks, which can be seen in the evenings when they walk around the grassland looking for food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"museum-of-the-mazovian-countryside-in-sierpc\">Museum of the Mazovian Countryside in Sierpc<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This option is for the ones who want to experience real travel into the past, and discover life and indigenous history and ceremonial of the Mazovian village from the breakthrough of the 19th and 20th centuries. In this museum you will find out how people lived, looked and enjoyed nature and beautiful surroundings two centuries ago. Modlin Fortress is one of the biggest 19th-century fortresses in Poland, located in the town of Nowy Dw\u00f3r Mazowiecki on the Narew River, about 50 kilometers from Warsaw. Visitors may access the Tatar Tower, which offers a beautiful view of the linking of the Vistula with the Narew, the 2 250-meter-long defensive barracks (which is the longest building in Europe), the neo-Gothic Water Tower from 1847, the North Gate, which is one of the oldest premises in the fortress and Napoleon\u2019s Redoubt, probably designed by the emperor himself.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You can easily reach all the listed locations using public transportation or by car. One of the best options is to get there by train, you can buy the tickets using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intercity.pl\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.intercity.pl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PKP Intercity <\/a>or<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polishtrains.eu\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.polishtrains.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Polish Trains<\/a>. Also, the <a href=\"https:\/\/global.flixbus.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/global.flixbus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FilxBus <\/a>can be helpful for these trips.
