Plus, it keeps you hydrated during long days exploring new cities or attending classes. Remember to drink a minimum of 2 liters of water a day, stay hydrated!
You’ll be doing a lot of exploring in new cities, so comfortable shoes are a must. Packing the right pair ensures you’ll enjoy your adventures without aching feet. Walking is the best way to discover the city. In Poland, you walk a lot, regardless of the weather. If you are coming for the winter semester - remember to bring warm boots, although some people cope by using sneakers, I don't recommend that if you don't want to get frostbite ;). If you arrive in the summer semester - Birkenstocks and breathable shoes are a necessity!
A backpack or daypack is a versatile must-have. It’s perfect for day trips, allowing you to carry essentials like snacks, a water bottle, and a camera. Additionally, it's convenient for university life - use it to haul books, notebooks, and any other school supplies you need throughout the day. I also encourage you to bring a backpack that will come in handy for walking in the mountains. In Poland, you will find many magnificent peaks, which are worth visiting during a weekend trip.
These two things are the foundation for a comfortable stay in your new student room. Bed linen and the sheets are not usually included in the rental room supply, that's why its the best to bring your own. Take your favorite bedding with you to make your sleep more comfy.
