Old Town of Krakow

Kraków Old Town is the historic central district of Kraków, Poland. It is one of the most famous old districts in Poland today and was the center of Poland's political life from 1038 until King Sigismund III Vasa relocated his court to Warsaw in 1596. The entire medieval old town is among the first sites chosen for the UNESCO's original World Heritage List, inscribed as Cracow's Historic Centre. The old town is also one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii) chosen in the first round, as designated September 16, 1994, and tracked by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

Czyzyny

In Czyżyny we can count on good neighbors because, according to the statistics of the Krakow police, Czyżyny and Nowa Huta are the safest districts of the city, because the number of crimes committed in them is the smallest.

Ruczaj

Over the last few years, Ruczaj (Dębniki district) has become one of the city's most fashionable locations. This was noticed both by developers who are building more and more new investments there, as well as clients willing to buy apartments. This is primarily determined by the proximity of the campus of the oldest Cracow university - the Jagiellonian University and the Krakow Technology Park, as well as the headquarters of corporations such as: Motorola, Nokia and Shell.

Temporary Living in Krakow

If you come to Krakow for less than 12 months, you may expect a bit more difficulties in finding an apartment or renting a room. Most of the landlords would expect you to sign the 12 months lease contract with limited possibility to terminate before that period. Luckily, most of the Pepe Housing landlords, not only accept temporary lease contract between 3 to 10 months, but also are more than happy to host students or expats. Some of the landlords, would ask for a small premium if you would like to rent for a couple of months.
